This Privacy Policy applies to Before It’s Too Late mobile apps for augmented reality experiences. Before It's Too Late (BITL) is a Miami-based nonprofit artist collective that publishes augmented reality mobile app experiences that educate people about the environment. Our apps enable users to interact in virtual game worlds blended with information from the real world.

Our apps currently include:

• Liberty Gardens AR

• South Pointe AR

• Everglades Safari AR

• Elixir of Life AR

BITL mobile applications are subject to these terms and conditions. 
You acknowledge that you have read, understand, and agree to be bound by the terms of this Agreement by accessing and using the Mobile Application.

Safe and Appropriate Use

Please be aware of your surroundings when using our apps. You agree to maintain safe and appropriate contact with other players and real-life people while playing the game. In addition, you agree that your use of the app is at your own risk, and you will not violate any applicable laws, regulations, or event policies. If you violate any term of this Agreement, we may suspend, disable, or delete your account.

Data and Privacy
We may collect data about your engagement with the components of the augmented reality experience. Examples of such data points include: 

• Total time spent on App 

• Total clicks on a specific 3D item in the AR experience 

• Total Yes/ No selections made in a particular game item

Our team uses this data to understand how users interact with our AR apps so we can design better AR experiences in the future. App play stats are not personally identifiable. We only analyze this data as an aggregate of all users, rather than individual users. 

We do not store your personal information. We collect basic information and an email address for account access and use. We gather demographic information to determine the age group of users of our apps.

Creating an Account

In order to use our apps to play the AR game, users may need to create an account through the app by providing a unique User ID, email address and password.

Deleting an Account

Users may request to delete their account by sending an email to admin@vrbitl.org with their email address.
